Branding With The Stars
Building a brand can be tricky when you brand is a celebrity. Join Project Runway’s Amanda Valentine, Emily Hughes (formerly of GOOP) and Rowanne McKnight (brand ambassador for Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James) for an insightful panel discussion about the unique challenges of building a brand when everyone knows your name.
Rowanne fell in love with Nashville during her days as a student at Vanderbilt University. After college, she worked for Warner Bros Records for 8 years before joining StyleBlueprint and helping them launch the SBGuide. For the past 2 years, she’s been the Director of Enterprise Sales and Brand Marketing at Spring Marketplace.
Emily is the Co-Founder of Loup Digital, an audience development consultancy that helps media and e-commerce clients like Olivia Palermo grow, retain, and convert their audiences. Her digital marketing expertise comes from working at brands like goop, Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, and Departures.
Amanda Valentine is the founder and designer of Amanda Valentine, a ready-to-wear clothing line manufactured in Nashville, TN. After working as a wardrobe stylist (and rock bassist) in Los Angeles, Amanda settled in Nashville 10 years ago to develop her clothing collection. She competed on Season 11 of Project Runway, and placed second when she was voted back by fans to compete in Season 13.
